Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Native
As many of you know how highlighters and blushes have become a must have for every girl. No makeup is complete without highlighter. So when its a must have then the question is "which one to choose?"
From past 2 years i'm hunting for a best highlighter which is ideal for my skin tone and skin type. This hunt has brought me a huge pile of highlighters which i'm going to review one by one.
So, i began my best highlighter journey with this palette. Its UD Naked Flushed in shade "Native".
Let's dig into some product detail then i'll give my final verdict.
What Company Says About The Product:
Bronze. Glow. Blush. Get Naked and FLUSHED in no time
with our hot (and highly coveted) threesome. These shades diffuse light as they
enhance and perfect, giving your skin a fresh, glowy look—even when your
late-night antics have you feeling otherwise.
But how you get Naked is up to you. Use these SILKY
pressed powders individually or blend them together to create just the right
effect—and let this seemingly straight-laced trio morph into a tangled color
love fest. Then bask in the radiant glow and let people wonder what you’ve been
up to.
Our micronized, jet-milled formula has a luxe,
featherlight texture that feels amazing on your skin. The shades are intensely
pigmented, yet they blend beautifully. And the finish? Flawless.
Initially UD introduced only 3 shades which were Native, Streak and Naked but later on they gave a more shade variety for different skinned people. Nooner, Sesso and Strip were added later on.
This is a 3 in one compact palette which includes
1. Blush
2. Highlighter
3. Bronzer
Blush is a cool toned "bright Pink" which is mostly suitable for people with pale skin. Texture is buttery but powdery. I won't say its a matte blush as it has glitter chunks in it. Infact to me it seems like UD has added the same glitter to all of the three products in the pan. All three are buttery smooth, finely milled and easily blendable but very chalky. When we take the product on applicator, it creates a big mess in the pan. It wastes a lot of product while application and as its powdery and chalky, we need quite a few application of blush and bronzer to get the desired color payoff.
Bronzer is medium bronze, warm toned brown with satin finish. As i told earlier the bronzer is very chalky and to get the desired color payoff we need to reapply the product.
As you can see in the picture above how chalky this bronzer is.
Highlighter is "pale pink shimmer" that is pink tinged peach with champagne shimmer sheen. Due to its frosty pigmentation and somewhat silver shimmer it will be more good for people with paler skin.
I personally don't like highlighter with glitter chunks. This highlighter has glitter chunks which even makes my pore more visible. The texture is very creamy and stays on face for a long time but the frosty factor was a no for me.

Overall, this trio couldn't grab my much attention. Right after few uses it went in my drawer. The main reason for my "not so inspired" review was firstly the shade. The cool toned blush was not for me. I did not like the highlighter so much because of glitter chunks and overall powdery texture of the product.
