 Every year people are coming with different and unique ideas on how to beautifully present their wedding events. This variety is not only adding up in styles, presentations or ideas, in-fact now new names for wedding events have been introduced like Shendi which is an amalgamation of Mehndi and Shadi (Barat).

Nikah is considered one of the main and important event of any wedding. Hence, from decades there is always a great planning behind this blessed event. 

For bride and groom, new styles of clothing and accessories have been introduced. From bride entry to food serving, everything is pre planned and well organised.  

Nikah is the only event where bride is covered and veiled till the couple ties the knot. Before nikah, bride covers here face with a very thin dupatta which follows an old and forgotten tradition of ghoonghat. It looks cute and stylish too.

If we talk about the ghoonghat ideas, it started from a thin curtain made out of duppata where bride walks in the wedding hall by staying behind this curtain. This curtain style started from a simple plain red georgette or cheffon fabric to designed and carved text.

Now the new trend has changed this big veiled curtain into a carved dupatta with text.

These are the most trending nikah duppata these days.

Now, lets talk about the other accessories or nikah which includes nikah pen and decorations.

Almost a decade ago, there was no concept of beautifying pen for nikah signature. There was a focus on presentation of everything though but i have never come across any styled nikah pen back since.

These days, styled nikah pen are trending with new and innovative ideas every now and then. 

My most favourite ones are pen with Mor Pankh.
