Black Peel Off Mask
Recently it was much talk of the town and everyone was anxious to try out this Black mask because of many tremendous outcomes. This mask is available with many brand names in all qualities. If you are lucky enough to find the right one for you.
When it comes to skin care we are always concerned to choose the right products from renowned brands. Recently i visited a gift shop and saw this mask on the counter. The way the counter was all cleared up with only few pieces left, within few minutes it grabbed my attention. I have seen so many brands in so many different hypermarkets but never got so much curiosity to try this thing. Anyways, i grabbed one pack and was waiting for the day when i will finally give it a try. Being so much occupied with my kid's school projects and all, i even couldn't get enough time to properly cleanse and scrub my face. So as soon as i found out time for myself i grabbed the pack to check the results as it was the best time to try this product to see will it really help me to get rid of those black n white heads which were peaking from my face for quite a few days now.
This mask just blew my mind with 1st application. It pulled out as many of the white heads as it could do. It has a little strange smell but wasn't too strong. As it as a kind of peel off mask the best way to apply is with brush.
Now lets move on to the Ingredients list!
These days we are so much concerned about Halal, cruelty free and most importantly health hazard chemicals. So before using this mask i just invested a little time to investigate each n every ingredient like what it is and what side effect it can cause. So i'm just adding a line about all the ingredients on the list
Disodium-EDTA
It primarily works as a preservative,
chelator and stabilizer, but has also been shown to enhance the foaming and
cleaning capabilities of a cosmetic solution. As a metal chelator, it
counteracts the adverse effects of hard water by binding with heavy metal ions
contained in tap water, which in turn prevents the metals from being deposited
onto the skin, hair and scalp. This makes it a particularly useful ingredient
for rinse-off products that inherently require water to come into contact with
the skin. Essentially, this ingredient deactivates the metal ions through
bonding with them, which inturn prevents cosmetic products from deteriorating,
maintains its clarity and prevents it from smelling rancid. You can find this
ingredient in virtually every personal care product including facial
moisturizer/lotion, sunscreen, anti-aging treatment, cleanser,
shampoo/conditioner, hair dye, body wash and eye cream.
Germaben-II unwanted ingredient:(
If you are making lotions, and you
wish to keep your lotions nice and creamy without mold and other nasties
growing in your creations, you need Germaben II. Germaben is a mixture of
propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, and propylparaben. It is
meant to be used as .3 to 1.0% of the total weight of your lotion. Germaben II
needs to be at a temperature of 140F degrees or below to effectively inhibit
mold and bacterial growth.
Carbopol Aqua SF-1 naOH
Carbopol® Aqua SF-1 polymer is a lightly cross-linked
acrylate copolymer. It is a novel, liquid, acrylic rheology modifier designed
to suspend, stabilize, thicken, and enhance the appearance of surfactant-based personal
cleansing products and soap-based cleansing systems. It is a cost-effective and
easy-to-use product that provides exceptional clarity around neutral pH.
Carbopol Aqua SF-1 polymer is the gold standard for thickening and suspension
of surfactant systems with more than 10% active surfactants.
Polyvinyl Alcohol
Polyvinyl Alcohol increases the thickness of the lipid (oil)
portion of cosmetics. It may also be used as a film former or a binder.
Apply it with brush and leave it for 15-20 minutes or until completely dry. Try to pull the mask as intact as possible. Wash off the residue and rub some ice so that the pores opening will shrink again.
You can see the white heads clearly in this pic.
